Every child has the right to go to school and learn
Every child has the right to a mainstream education. Today, education remains an inaccessible right for millions of children around the world. More than 72 million children of primary education age are not in school and 759 million adults are illiterate and do not have the awareness necessary to improve both their living conditions and those of their children.
CHILS strongly believe that each child, whatever their living conditions may be, has the right to dream, have fun and hope. Every child – in the world as in Ghana – has the right to a childhood. It’s that simple. CHILS works to provide learning opportunities that begin in early childhood and prepare every child with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive.
